Help Make a Difference at the Library
The Friends are a volunteer organization that support the programs, goals, and services of the Library through fundraising and volunteering. Currently, there are three chapters:
Friends of the Markdale Branch
We support the Library by promoting its benefits, fostering an understanding of its community role, encouraging volunteer participation in activities promoting the Library’s mission, and engaging in local fundraising to assist with Library objectives. Each spring and fall we host a large book sale where the cost of the books is simply a donation.
